No pistol but training (and hurting)

Here I am again 🙂 The pistol break is going good and home stress has been reduced too, mainly due to adaptation to confinement (we have passed the 3 week mark) and sleep is getting better but random due to my daughter getting used to sleep in her own bed.

Pre break SCATT files

These are the files that go with my previous post about the coming pistol break.

Break!

Things are not going well with the extra home stress with isolation and the kids, so the coach told me to take a break. You can see in the scatts and journals that things are really going down hill, and so are they in my mind. So you will not get more journals and scatt files for at most a couple weeks.

Wiggly

Something weird happened this week. My hold became super wiggly. At first I thought it was because of the stress of taking too long in setting up the SCATT equipment in a new location at home where I hope to have more time to train. But then the day after came and it was the same.

Coronavirus daily focus: do one thing well

A week has passed and my family is holding on quite well. I hope that yours is too.

Updated abbreviations and signs list

These will help you understand the pages of my journal 🙂

Last journals before Coronavirus lockdown

Belgium has gone on the defensive and I can no longer train in the range. My national and internationals trainings and competitions have been cancelled and there’s no clear view of when things will go back to normal. Plus, with the kids at home 24/7 I will have to cut down on training time with the pistol.

Club closed for coronavirus

No range training for a while. I’m so happy to have the tracing system at home to continue training :).Also ISCH in Hannover and local competitions in Belgium have been cancelled. The Belgian will be rescheduled probably.Kid’s school is also closing. I’ll dig deeper into scheduling for training when my wife comes back from work and we know what she has to do.Looks like a lot of dry fire, holds and physical exercise is coming our way! A natural test to see if we can improve without going to the range, a la Keith Anderson (guide here)Good luck to all 🙂
