My best target ever

The hard work is paying off 🙂

Two good SCATT shots: quickie and on drill time

Today was motivating because although I was super tired and slept like 💩 I could see the progress I’m making, even with the bad shots. And also because one of you sent me some feedback saying that he’s improving with what he’s learning here! 😍I’ve attached 2 good shots from the evening practice. Number 6 is a quick one but good. #9 is on drill time and also good. For those that don’t have the SCATT app installed I’ve included a few videos. One thing I noticed is that in the afternoon I was more tired and my hold was not as good as in the morning. I’ve included a comparison of boths SCATT sessions too. Please let me know if these SCATT shot highlights with pictures and videos are helpful for you 🙂

A tired journal but with improvements

This journal posts has some SCATT pictures to show a couple good shots and comparing the morning and afternoon sessions.

A flick of the wrist

Here’s an example of a bad shot from today’s SCATT traces.

Zip file with plenty of SCATT example files

I downloaded all the file examples from the SCATT official website and also from the amazing shooting-ua.com site (too bad I don’t speak Russian, praise technology for making translation so easy!).

Snatching (no jerking)

Today’s training at the range went well. Fought tiredness and only 3 shots out of 9. You can see a lot of snatching, but still there are a lot of good shots and it is better than usual 🙂

Good release bad hold?

This is what a good trigger release should be like for me. The hold, not so much. I can see this either as mee trying to hunt for 10s or about my coordination reflex kicking in.

Extra physical training!

In coordination with my coaches I’ve decided to ramp up my physical training, increasing the number of days I do cardio and core exercises and adding some weight on my arms.

Call is starting!

I’m already in. Join the call 🙂
