Training with a bit of experimenation spice to fight boredom and improve balance. The ideas come from some pics a physical trainer of an Olympic pistol shooter showed me at Intershoot. I did not get a modofied program from my coach yet, but he is in the French national AP championship with a lot of shooters under his wing. He’s understandably bussy 🙂 

The results of yesterday’s interclubs competition. I shot well and ended up first. These competitions among the shooting clubs of Brussels are only done with 20 shots and are very relaxed, so I made a lot of changes to make them more challenging.

I recorded some videos of pistol shooters (men and women, junior and senior, including Olympic stars and record holders) so that you can look at styles, techniques and gear. I hope you find it useful.

Yesterday’s competition went well! I managed to get in a super state of self belief that was very helpful. 552 is my official competition record (553 in unofficial friendlier competitions). 

Tough match today but happy with the result and how I got over a terrifying start. Sighters where no good and I had to build up through my first series. Ended up with 550 and 6th place in the teams classification, only 10 points behind the first team (guess which country was it).
