A unique short time opportunity is coming for all shooters willing to come to Brussels to have their Olympic pistol grips customized for their hands. I’ve convinced Sander Nooij (Dutch pistol champion and master woodworker) to come to Brussels and spend a week customizing pistol grips! I’ve already done one of my grips with him following the recommendation of my coach (but I had to drive for 6 hours). With the coming Brussels Pistol Grand Prix by my club I thought it would be a great opportunity to bring him to Brussels. Getting a lot of shooters together to compete and a grip customizer sounds like a great fit, doesn’t it? 🙂
Sander learnt the grip fitting ropes with German legendary shooter Ralf Schummann, at a shooting camp at MEC. Expert shooter + professional woodworker + learnt from a legend = unique skills!
Here’s the deal, Sander will do your grip work in 4 to 5 hours in the morning (at 9am) or afternoon (at 2pm) from the 5th to the 9th of September (the day the competition closes). The price is €150-180 for air and standard pistol grips and €180-200 for free pistol grips (depending on the time needed to finish them). As an example, my Steyr Evo 10 air pistol costed €150 and I’m very happy with it.
There’s just one exception: no CO2 guns.
